Fall fishing has got to be my favorite time to fish. I’m sure anybody that has spent time fishing for any species has got to love fishing this time of year.

My company on this trip were Big B , BFD , Big~D , and Andy Arms.We were companied by Dustin and James for some smart talk after hours in the cabin that had us all in tears. This has ranked WAY HIGH on my times to remember , so thank you all for that .

Now gettin down to the fishin,,,,, Andy and I got up to Everet’s Monday afternoon and spent the day picking up some fish here and there from the dam down to Young’s Cabin . Tuesday morning we spent alot of time at the Y below the dam and caught alot of fish in the 14″to 20″ range. Fishing in depths of 15 to 22′ .Here is a pic of Andy with his nice sauger.

Tuesday we had caught a lot of fish in the 20″-24″ range just like that last pic. We had an absolute BLAST

We were fishing with ring worms. Camielion(sp) , purple w/ white tail , most any of them seem to work.

After targeting what we thought was the mother load of walleyes we knew we would head back down to this spot in the AM. But when we got their at 6am it took till 8:30 am till we caught our first fish. But most of the fish we caught were a little bit larger than the day before.

    10 pounds 10 oz’s 29″ to be exact

Dave, it was good to see you again. Big B. BFD. and the Big D. it was a blast meeting the 3 of you. I hope the Big D. has recovered from the smart talking that night. If I remember right, he was starting to get pretty smart in the later evening hrs.

    Great seeing you guys!

Was LundgEYE talking obout the fish or the fisherman being healthy and fat? Could be both.

Hey Dustin, as a matter of fact the Big D mentioned he was still feeling resonably intelligent the next morning Thanks for the good information both you and James offered on fish movement on pool 4. I’ll put it to use in the weeks to come…B
