spent friday and saturday on pool 5 fishing mostly for walleyes, but wasn’t real picky. friday caught several small walleyes and sauger and one big bruiser walleye going 23.5″. caught most of the fish casting wingies. also caught a nice northern and several very nice largemouth and smallmouth, the biggest lgmouth going 20″. also ran into some stripers. saturday found us catching most our fish trolling cranks in the channel and on channel edges. much better day for numbers and size. we ended up cleaning 8 eaters and releasing probably another 20-25 short fish. all in all a good day. the hot colors were blue/white and firetiger, bombers and shadraps.
