Dad and I fished the head of the lake on Saturday. I would say we had a pretty darn good day on the water. Caught walleyes, sauger, stripers, catfish and of course sheepies. Fished the channel edges working 6 to 9 feet of water. 1/8 ounce black jig tipped with half a crawler seemed to put the majority of fish in the boat. Dad kept a couple eyes for dinner and the rest went back in the lake for future outings. We did catch alot of short fish. Tons of fun spending the day fishing with dad. Good luck to all heading out.
