Pool 9-10 Short report

    Here is a quick report on 9-10 pools.The sauger are starting to move to the normal fall spots.There are a lot of small fish being caught.Vertical jigging is the best method at this point.Afew eyes are around but I haven’t heard of anything big as of yet.The Float reports good fishing below dam 9.There is still some weeds floating around the river sometimes bad and then sometimes not so bad.As I here more I’ll post more.Remember the”Rock” is now serving breakfast at 6am hope to see ya there.

    This place called “The Rock”, is that in Harpers Ferry or is that up above Lock & Dam 9 somewhere? Where is a good place to stay in Harpers Ferry?

    The Falling Rock , is its legal name but most of us just call it “The Rock” is located south of Lock and Dam # 9 about….oh….no more than a mile……. Right on Hwy 35 .They sell bait , tackle, they have a full bar and also they now serve breakfast at 6am, along with lunch and supper.

    As far as a place to stay in Harpers….someone else with more knowlege than I will have to help you with that one.
