Can anybody tell me who to contact for a seasonal lot at the park? Or any other place along the river with seasonal lots.Either side of the river would be fine with me.

August 18, 2005 at 12:42 am #378905The Corps of Engineers park does not do seasonal lots. That is the Blackhawk Park. The small private park just before you enter Blackhawk is Battle Island Campground. Stop at the concession stand and have Milan head you to the secretary-treasurer of the park and they can put you on the waiting list. I will be up there a week from Friday, for 2 weeks. Look for a White Lind at the docks and ask for Jim.

August 25, 2005 at 2:07 pm #380218Might also want to check on pool 8,Goose Island(Wi) or Brownsville(WildCat Landing) I’m at WildCat,theres a waiting list for seasonal but they do monthly rentals there.Ask for Jerry. Good Luck.

September 2, 2005 at 2:38 pm #381807Probably be wise to get at least on a waiting list(no commitment) at some places. For camping it pays to stay ahead of the game otherwise nothing falls into place and you end up with no plans/reservations and you end up at home by the firepit!!!! Go luck!!
