I guess that I was a little surprise at how low the weights were. I expected a few bigger fish coming in w/ that many great fisherman on the water. I know that the fishing was slow, but was the bite THAT tough? Were people on fish that just werent biting or was it tough to locate numbers of fish?

    Just curious. Thanks

The big fish were there pre fishing , but were we found them there were 60 – 70 boats there during the tournement and spooked everything out. We boated 1 10 2 9s and a few 8 threw 6 and I know we werent the only ones. There were just to many boats fishing the same areas for to many days in a row. And the fish were gone!

I was pretty surprised that the big fish that were brought in were from an area that close.

Great job guys what a blast to watch!

Actually, I was kinda surprised at the amount of fish brought in when you consider the amount of pressure/pounding on these fish. Same thing happen to the fox river the previous two years. Huge weights the 1-2 weeks before, but as the tourney started weights dropped.
