Pool 2 Report

Went out to try pool 2 tonight with the girlfriend
We launched at hastings (which by the way is one of the worst landings known to man) but it was close to where we wanted to fish. Went through the locking process for the first time Finally worked our way to our spot.

We tried trolling jigs, while I casted spnners and raps to shore with no results. She looked like she was getting bored so I tied on a 3/4 oz. bottom bouncer with a northland fishing tackle gold colored lidy rigs with a 5ft. snell tipped with a black and red BFT ringworm. Not 2 minutes after i get her set-up she catches her FIRST walleye.
A nice one at that measuring 24″ (thats the way to start!)

Caught acouple more short walleyes and called it a night.
Caught the fish in 13 FOW trolling at 0.8-1.1 mph
Have a pic but cannot get it to load (too big!)of ME holding the fish because “it’s all yucky”

anybody know why it is so bloody?

Either you snagged the fish, because lets be serious here, this is your first fish out of about 20 attempts on the water this year, or you were a little rough yanking the hook out.

I’d be curious to know who has the whiter belly, me, you, or the walleye? Just teasing. Nice fish to start a career with.

Holy COW!!! Cover that thing up, I had to put sun glasses on to look at the screen, what a reflection

The dust off the condenser coils works as a great sunblock!
