    Thinking of heading up this weekend to check out the pool and try for some walleyes. Anything going on up there right now? Thanks.

    Actually had some really good luck on pool 6 on Monday evening. I was catchin fish on willowcats and on nightcrawlers. I would think you will do just fine.
    Keep hittin those wingdams till you run into a good school.

    I might be heading up that way next week–don’t know if I will be bringing my boat though, as it is more of a business trip. I may sneak over to Winona for some shore-fishing, though.

    Well, after looking at the weather forecast, I decided to go another weekend. Am I ever glad I did. Thunderstorms Saturday and oppressive heat and humidity on Sunday. Probably wasn’t very comfortable out there. I’ll try again in a couple weeks.
