Go to this site and look at the walleyes over ten pounds. Look for the walleyes caught over in the Netherlands, one is just a shade under 20.

You know it feels great to work for a place like fishtheriver.com …. it is the kind of place where a new person like chacago can come in and post another fishing information’s website such as WC’s address and it not be deleated… I just love these guys here at EFN!
Thanks for the heads-up on the info on WC…. and, I may have to price out some airfare to the Neatherlands!
And chacago, welcome to EFN and http://www.fishtheriver.com …. check our other site http://www.fishthelake.com too .
I hope that you’ll share your own information, on how to catch those 10 pounders here with us.

Yeah, they are all Zander. In Europe, they were treated like carp until they found out the “Table Value”. Now you see them in resturaunts all over. They were suspected of decimating the trout populations in European lakes and rivers. In some areas it was illegal to return them to the water, and they would rot on shore like carp here.
I have a buddy in Sweden that I am trying to get some more pics from of the Zander he catches over there.

A few years back I thought I read an article that South Dakota planted Zanders in one of the systems. Does anyone recall this? Hawger, The airlines are offering a buy one ticket get one free special, I’ll take the free one.

Wouldn’t do anything to harm FTR or FTL. I’m on the site 3/4 times a week and have passed it on to many who fish pool 4 and who I work with.

I know of an impoundment in North Dakota west of Mandan that has them, or had them anyway. South Dakota may have also.

I never ran across them when I lived in SD, but I fished the Missouri mainly. I’d sure like to head east someday for a trip though. I would also like to hit the Columbia out west for some of the pigs they have. No one fishes for them out there……Goofy west river guys Ask DanOr.
