The fishing on pool 4 has been great the last few days. I have been going out every afternoon since tuesday and have caught some great fish.

I have been useing core and #7 raps bounceing the bottom the whole time. Ive been fishing in 7 – 10ft and trolling at about 2 mph,

    Hows everyone else doing?

Am I missing something here? If you are only fishing in 7′ to 10′ with # 7 raps, why would you need lead core?
    Thanks

I am useing core because the bottom changes depth every 10 or so yrds so when I start pounding the bottom Im realing in all the time and letting line back out. The key for me was to stay on the bttom without snagging, But with mono you have to be out so far it gets to be a real pain in the butt + my trolls are not very long.

And thanks Steve that was easy enough

    Hey there B_Sander,

Who took your Pic ? He/She must be very tall !!

You need to let me lighten up you ID Pic…..we cant hardly see you.

Very nice walleye too. Did you ever think about hand lining ?

its another very affective way to handle thoes woop-ti-doos on the bottom…

I ve never tried it where do you get the weights for handlining and the reels or what ever they are called where could i pick some up?

Or if you hand line alot do you ever have an open seat? I would love to learn..
    Thanks

I’ve allways got an open seat !!

If your ever planing a trip to PdC fishin or for anything else, give me a shout and we can try to put some time in on the water.

I ordered my two reels from Hutch here in town. He is an expert when it comes to hand lining. Once he got me in the boat running cranks this way I was hooked for good . It isn’t anthing like pole and line . Its hard to explain in words, we will just have to do it .Or when I get up to Red Wing I’ll give you a shout.

Now what about your ID Pic ?
