Pool 3 6/2 Wing Dams

Fished about 3 hours from 300-600 Pm on the Dams below Prescott, about 1/2 the way to Diamond Bluff today. Picked up 5 Eyes, 4 legal. (18-22″) 3 were taken on crawlers 2 on Fire Tiger Shad Raps #7. Current is still moving pretty good, had to use 1 oz. weight to keep in contact with the bottom. All were caught in close to shore. Should get better now with the warmer weather, if the big downpores holdoff. Good Luck, See you on the river as the fishing picks up.

Chappy, let me know how you did, like I said, the current is still strong, but try the insides, near the shoreline. I couldn’t get any takers out at the ends. I may give it another try tommorrow or Sunday if it’s not pouring rain.

Thanks for the report Engelworm. I had a very good trolling bite going about a week and a half ago, but since then the water seemed to get pretty muddy and I did not do very well last Saturday or last night. I was thinking hard about trying the insides of the wing dams, but didn’t. Chappy, let us know how you do.
