I made it to Minnesota and we fished the St. Croix, primarily, on Friday morning, near where it meets up with the Mississippi. We landed several flatline trolling crankbaits, but most were struggling to be of legal size. We only kept a couple for the table, but numerous good-eaters were caught. We’re looking for somewhere to find them a bit bigger… I know we’re asking for a lot, but what would be a better spot to find some walleyes of size?
