Took Friday and headed down to Two. Tried a few winddams with no success. Taking the advice from the board started working a few cut areas. I worked jigs-nothing, tried 3 ways-nothing. Then started long-lining #5 shad raps in a clown color. Ended up taking 5 walleyes. The biggest went 5 pounds on the digital, also got a 4, two threes and a two pound walleye. The bonus was a beautiful copper colored sauger which went about 3 pounds.

All the fish came in less then 7 feet of water, all caught slowly moving up current on the breaks.

Thanks to all the great information IDA anglers share, Its fun to get out on the water and not be the usual clueless angler.

    Prof. It’s amazing isn’t it!

I’ve learned more from IDA about fishing (and other things ) than from anyother source…including the best fisherman I know…Dad!

Sealegs and Co. were also out on Friday we trolled up river and only caught White Bass. We switched to bobber fishing up by the lock as my 4 yr old likes to watch the bobber. We managed 8 walleyes nothing big a bunch of crappies and two catfish a 6 and 7 lbs’er (thought they were walleyes)Boy did my son think those cats were something special! He liked the way they purred! He didnt want to hold them, neither did my 32 year old fishing buddy!! Good thing dad was along to take the fish off!

Take A look at the Water levels currently as well as where it was 2 weeks ago. WOW!

    Sealegs,
I enjoy reading reports of youngsters that get to tangle with the multiple species the river has….You have a PM!
