Anyone been fishing Pepin?

    Has anyone been fishing pepin this weekend? any report woulg be appreciated.

    The last time I was out on Pepin was on April 22. I caught one nice 23 incher in 27 feet of water near the rocks next to the marina. Also caught a sheepie. Oops, I wasn’t supposed to say that. I think it is still too early yet as the water temp was only 58 degrees that day. I heard the head of Lake Pepin is producing a little bit. This cold and windy weather is slowing things down a little bit. Hey if you go please report back and good luck and stay warm too!

    The lake has been good for us.we have been fishing it for about 3 weeks now and have not had a bad day in my standards. took second place last weekend in a tourny while fishing in the lake. the fish are around but just in a few givin locations. if you find them i would stay on them because there will likely be more there willing to eat. It should only get better from here on out.

    Is the trolling bite on the lake starting to pick up yet??
