I’m taking my dad fishing out of Red Wing on Saturday, problem is I haven’t been out at all this year yet. I would really like to get him into legal walleyes or saugers and I’m more concerned with more action than bigger fish. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Its been tough for my boat. We did boat 1 piggie and one nice fish 3 waying last weekend (of course the pig didnt come during the LPO!) and i also caught a few on the flats near 5 cut. Overall its tough but the big ones are out there to be caught! Thanks

We had about the same luck as tony yesterday. A couple of nice fish and not a hole lot of others. Looked to be a fair amount of boats trolling the head of the lake yesterday. Not sure of what they call the area. Not sure if they where catching much either. If you are looking for action go white bass fishing.
