Just looking for input on whether or not the trip to Genoa would be worth it on Sunday. Thinking about coming over from the Madison area. Not much going on the Wis. River right now.

My Dad went out yesterday. Said he got two nice eyes early in the AM, then nothing..saved the day with some nice perch behind the long wall of the locks (between wall and shore).
I personally am going to whittle away at the “honey do” list this weekend and wait till the water clears up and drops a little more.(next weekend)

We went out on Sunday and did pretty well handlining. Got 13 total, 10 legal fish from 15-19″. Hired Tim Hutchison to take us out, excellent guide. He really worked hard to put us on fish. I think that our fish weight would have won the tournament that was going on. I saw very few fish being landed in the tourament boats. Beautiful day to boot, now I just have to deal with my sunburn

Fishahol, you had the right idea. I went out to Dresbach Sat. and Sun., two small fish sat., and two eaters sunday..caught a dozen or so white bass , 1 northern and a 1 small flathead. Should have got my stuff done also so when things heat up, I’m not setting there looking at all my honeydowork instead of fishing. The good part is she fishes too, therefore she’ll cut me slack when fishing time rolls around ….Murf

Glad to hear I made the right call. I even made some extra points by putting up a new cloths line she has been asking for. I plan on hitting it this coming weekend. Probably Pool 9,probably Saturday.
