We just back this week from the Rainy River and I thought it was really interesting at how many people were using plastics. Five years ago very few people used plastics up there. It is just a testament to how much influence this site is having on people around the state. We caught most of our larger fish using similar techniques that are used in the spring down here, dragging and pitching ringworms. I also heard some great reports from hovering white super-doos. We caught 15 fish over 25″ on plastics! Go to the Rainy River forum to check out some picks of the “piggies”.

I have the same observation. I personally did well with K-Grubs, Ring Worms, and Paddle Tails. Colors were catalpa, fire cracker, pearl chartreuse, purple with white tail. I could not believe I was out of white!!!

The partner I was with lives and dies by the minnow. I was catching 3 fish to his 1 fish and he still did not change. This is the honest truth.

My hat is off to B-Fish-N

Its funny how the socalled experts have jumped on the plastics bandwagon after James and Dustin popularized this presentation on there video. I pesonnally have put alot of fish in the boat using there methods. What a fun way to catch river eye’s.
