This is my first fishing post so hopefully I do alright…..

I had the pleasure to fish with TBO/MN today.

Boats were everywhere! And the fish were being shy!

TBO (aka Joe) caught a nice walleye early in the morning while we were pitching jigs. After no further luck pitching, we did some jiggin……..wow were the fish slow!

Our last attempt was to do some 3-way. This along with the rest produced nothing.

At 2:30 we decided to head back to the landing……..but before we could call it a day, we decided to pitch it a few more times. I still hadn’t caught anything so I was a woman on a mission

FINALLY I CAUGHT MYSELF A FISH.

It was my pleasure to have this great young lady in my boat today. I was so impressed with her quest for fishing knowledge, really seems to have the passion for it. Look out guys, she is going to become a future hot stick……She is correct about the bite, it was about a mile past tough..sheeeeesh!!

She is a great student of the sport. It doesn’t take much patience when you can teach someone so eager to learn. We do have to work on that bass slip knot though….

That’s why, the service is bad…..

Actually, believe it or not, I left my wallet at home, thought I had lost it, but after a call home to my wife, she found it in one of my jackets. Good thing I carry a ten’er in the boat just in case..for the launch. Geez I hate when that happens
