    Welcome to IDA WALLiSLAYR!!!
I have not fished pool 4 yet this year but plan on it soon. I am sure there are plenty of guys have some info that will jump in here with some tips.

Your best bet for numbers right now is in the dam area. The fishing has been fair, not gang busters. Launch out of Everts Resort and they’ll give you the heads up on what has been puting fish in the boat. Ringworms have been very good for my boat. I have heard reports of split shot rigs with minnows and jig/minnows putting fish in the boat for some anglers as well.

Concentrate on the 15′ to 30′ depths for saugers. If it’s bigger walleye you are after concentrate in the 15′ and shallower depths. When in the shallower depths, dragging or casting will up your odds right now. Just remember to let the fat females swim away

Good luck and let us know how you do.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully it will be a good day! Question: Where do you get the Ringworms? I’ve looked all over in my area and can’t seem to find them. Thanks again.

Steve Vick at Everts has every kind of Ringworm and jig you need. Just stop in and stock up!
