Well it is spring time and the barges are coming upstream like crazy.We had a great channel bite going down stream,until the tows pushed them out of there winter home.Caught a few nice saugers in Ackerman;s cut,but they were scattered all over.Released a couple nice eyes below the wing dam by the ramp.Over all with the wind we had a fairly good day.Remmber the conditions have been tuff for jigging plastics and worse for live bait.Very soft bites,thank God for G- loomis rods , or we would not felt as many bites as we had.Keep fish;in
