I went to Maquette this afternoon late via 35 to PDC. I also wanted to see what was going on at Lynxville. Was about 3 boats over on the W side below the float and about 5 below the wall. Everything looked wide open.

Was there at about 1:00pm yesterday and there was about 10 trailers in the parking lot. Ramps are wide open and clear. Had to run to Lansing for business and then made my way down 35 to Cabelas for the “Spring Sale” and loaded up on equipment. Looking to be at Lynxville next saturday, hopefully the river will not rise to much with all the snow melting.

I fished on sunday again. The North ramp is in good shape, the south one had some snow on it yet, should be useable again soon though. The fishing was pretty tough, we mustered one walleye and 2 northerns between our 2 boats. The water is starting to get stained with the run off from the snow.

We fished ALL day Saturday and Sunday morning. Things were quite tough until Saturday late afternoon. Seemed like the 18-20 inch walleyes got hungry for green ringworms. We ended up with 9 nice eaters and tossed a 36″ northern back in the drink. Sunday was S L O W. We ended up with a 9″ sauger on the wingdam at MacDonald Slough.
