With high daytime temperatures is it more productive to try fishing at night as opposed to daylight hours? On some of the smaller rivers in my area this seems to be the ticket for myself. Even if I try shaded areas or deeper holes I always seem to do better at night when daytime temps are in the 90’s. Is this true on the Mississippi? If so what type of areas are better than others for night stalking? If not what am I doing wrong during daylight hours? I like to fish 3-ways with live bait or crankbaits either casted or trolled on both the flats or on wings damns – where ever I contact fish.
Hot temps – night fishing vs. daytime
