spillways pool 8

    has anyone ever heard that the spillway in pool 8 is closed this time of year?

    Yes it is, not sure until when though, maybe the middle to the end of April. I think it is posted when you get up there?

    Buctail is correct…

    i think it is typically closed until may 15th or so…and YES, there are posted signs there.

    I’ll see if i can’t check this week for ya.

    I think it is closed until April 15th. It has been awhile since I have fished the spillway. There are posted sign along the shore as well as the island before it if you are coming by boat. They do it to protect the spawning fish
