LYNXVILLE Place to Stay

    HI i’m new to this site and from what i see there’s lots of good info here! i’m from the Quad Cities IL and been hearing lots of good things about Lynxville. i plan on coming up there one of these days soon to try one of those fallingrock burgers and maybe do some fishing too
    But i’m going to need some place to stay (reasonable priced)anything close by?

    Lenny…..if you’re fishing Lynxville, its just a few miles to Praiirie duChein to the south, and a few to Genoa to the north. There are a number of places in Prairie DC…and Cabelas is a plus. We’ve stayed at the Brisbois Motor Inn, about 1.5 miles south of Cabelas. 608-326-8404..but there are numerous motels around there. You can call the bait shop in Genoa to get the name of the motels in that neck of the woods.

    Brisbois is a good spot to stay just North of PDC, clean and reasonable rooms. it is about 8-10 miles south of the dam on Hwy 35. Falling Rock has every thing you will need for the river and for your belly!

    There is a motel in Lynxville, but I think it closes in the winter. Sorry, don’t know the name of it so you can check.

    Len, I will see ya soon. March 10 is my last day of work for at least a month. Have the burgers ready and I’m looking forward to sharing a fish story or two over a beer or three.

    hey guys thanks for the info on the motels the Brisbois sound prety good we’ll be watching this site for the best time to come up. your weather sounds like ours down here unstable when it settles down we’ll be up
