fished from shore today 6/12…..

    Had a few hours and rigged up slipbobbers and fished leeches south of Lake City from shore this morning. Had pretty good luck. I caught about 30 smallies and most were legal…up to 18″ the biggest. I also got 4 eyes all 17-18″ and had a dandy i’d guess 24-25″ up about 5′ from shore but got off. First time i’ve ever fished from shore on the river…and it won’t be the last.

    Great info! What often is forgotten, not everyone owns or has access to a boat.
    Learning good shore spots takes some time and successfully fishing from shore isn’t always
    a guarantee either!!

    Plus, some shore spots you’ll never see a boat in or near by!!!??

    Keep the rods bendin’!!!
