Hey Tony, Are you the guy I talked to at the boat ramp in the morning? How did ya like that ice? Man we stayed out all day and had a heck of a time gettin’ back in but did real well on some bigger fish from 3:00-4:30p.m. The biggest was 5lbs. Took picture and sent her on her way! It seemed like the bigger fish wanted the pro blue ringworm. We got a lot of smaller fish on the green jig and minnow, but opted to go back to draggin ringies. 20ft was the best depth for us. Had a BLAST!! Hey AmWatson, sorry I didn’t get to talk to ya. Maybe next time. I’ll be up there again on Tues. Look for the tall guy in red bibs and a old banged-up Alumacraft! Good luck to you all.

Pro Blue ringworms was what caught our fish as well. Jake was using a red hair jig, and it was working for him. We kind of figured there would be a good afternoon bite, but we couldn’t get back out I hope to get to either Genoa or Lynxville later this week

    Len,

Thanks for everything you did to open up the ramp. On Saturday we put in at the lower (old) ramp but had to take the boat out at the upper ramp. It looked as if the whole thing would open up by Sunday. I wish the fish had been more cooperative but we caught enough to keep it interesting. Several large fish and several short fish with not much in between. Even though the fishing was slow it was great to be on the open water again. Ribeyes and refreshments at Falling Rock afterwards topped off a good day.
