Well all that have stopped in for bait this morning said that the sauger bite has been good.A few already limited out and they were in the 16″-18″ range. The ice is still in good condition.

    Len,
Just wondering if you have any type of report lately? Is the river clear of ice from the landing up to the dam at all? Probably going to get out this weekend and just debating where to go. Thanks.

Len and Koonce are fishing open water today so they’ll have some info up tonight. What a BEAUTIFUL day out there!

They are still ice fishing up to Lynxville and below the Genoa dam…there is open water to be had from the Genoa Power plant landing down to Desoto…Len and I put in at Victory and played around down to the wing dams with nothing to show…Snagged a big carp across from Blackhawk…Played with 3-ways and cranks with nothing to show..thats about it…
