    Any one fishing up towards the Hidden Falls area (Pool 2)?

    I fished there today. Went from just before the little falls landing down to Pike Island. 3 walleye, 6 wt. Bass and 2 smallies. None of the fish were under a pound. Walleye avg. was about 2.3 lbs.

    I’ve been out there twice in the last few days. We have been getting a smorgasboard as well up under the lock on the west side of the island. Last night a 19″ eye and 24″ channel, both on shad raps ripped across the current break. On Monday eveing I got 3 19″ eyes, a 30″ pike and a sweet smallie to boot. The water dropped almost a foot from monday to wednesday. Pulling cranks downstream fast below minnehaha is deadly from here on out for big channels.
