    Here’s the latest report on the walleye and smallie bite on Pool 4 of the Mississippi River from James Holst…. as well as some nice photos. Sounds like the walleye bite has been excellent with some big ‘eyes coming in and the smallie bite has been good as well!!

    Great report James! I am jealous. The cold fronts continue to plague us up here in Northeast Wisc./U.P. . I am looking foreward to getting back to Pool # 4 ASAP.

    The walleye spawn is just ending here, but Smallies and Pike are active.
