    How thick was the ice

    The ice was around 6″-8″ but it is good clear ice.I’ll keep you all (yall) informed.

    Len,

    I have often thought those people ice fishing below the dam were NUTS. How do they get out there. Is that right from the Gordons Bay and walk there? or do they get there around the lock by the dam?

    They take Hovercrafts or ATV’s up from Gordon’s Bay or they walk down from the Dam.The ice is around 8″ where they are fishing.It can get a little spooky at times but as long as the current stays low it’s ok.
