Pool 4 Sauger update 12-17-04

    The sauger bite continues to be very good. Todays trip was like my last 5 except for one difference, the bigger fish wanted to eat today. We used super doos all day, chartruse pepper and catalpa orange were the hot colors. We caught fish from 16’to 25′ with the majoraity coming from 20’to 24′. Spent most of the day below the Y and made 2 drifts up by the dam. I love this time of the year

    This ugly dude looks cold. It really was’nt that bad out there today.

    Bill, Not many, In the early afternoon I counted 8 boats.
