Hopefully I’ll get out for a few hours this afternoon. Is Lion’s Park usable? is the 494 ramp open and does it close at 4:30?

How was the bite yesterday? Any particular plastics working well? Has the vertical jig bite started by the airport? How about Lilydale?

    Thanks!

The St. Paul Park ramp is in good shape.

I fished wingdams Saturday morning but didn’t catch anything. I talked to another guy at the ramp when I was leaving and he said he didn’t catch anything either. I didn’t fish at the airport area.

Good Luck if you make it out.

I launched at the Lily Dale ramp at 5a.m.. There was a couple of vehicles in the parking lot, after launching (it was fine) I went to park my pickup. The two cars? One was a security vehicle checking on the other, which was on blocks with no tires-yikes!I fished the airport wingdams and had a nice 23″r right away on a purple Kalin grub. Shortly after that I had a similar one to the boat but lost it. This was before predawn light. Thought it was going to be a good day but that was it for me. Talked to another fisherman who had a couple very early, but had a tough day bite too.Busted my Vector 3X-it froze up and some how the directional arrow no longer works. The plastic latch on my new tackle box broke. With my luck I was wondering if my pickup was going to be on blocks when I got back-happily it was fine.

Put me and Dino in the tuff bite boat too…

Couple-three eyes and a whitey jumping around to areas that are generally good this time of the year. Nuttn’ big.

    Next time….

I got out for 2 hours on Sunday from 2:30 – 4:30. Had a hit on the first wing dam and that was it.

I was out Friday afternoon and was blanked as well. The daytime bite has been non-existent for me. I left the water before dusk becasue, I had launched from 494 and was concerned about being locked in for the weekend.
