Lake Pepin

    I fished Lake Pepin on Monday. I trolled plugs most of the day. I picked up two 21 inch fish just above Pepin Wisc. in 12 feet of water running 2.8 MPH with shad raps. I got one more 19 inch fish in the Wisc. side about two miles above Bogus Point. Other than that the only other fish in the boat were two chanel cats around the 8 lb size.

    Hey Tom

    I spotted you and the twin evinrudes working one of “our” favorite stretches! I shot you a wave… pretty sure you saw me.

    Anyway, Pepin was good on Sunday… front rolled through during the night and put a halt to the trolling bite we had going. I just added my latest report so here’s the link instead of re-typing it all: Latest Pool 4 Fishing Report

    Thanks for the note Jim. That was me. I didn’t do any good where you saw me. Most of my action was lower on the lake. I will be out there again tuesday. I’ve been selling Crestliners and Glasstron for Crystal Pierz Marine 3 days a week and will continue that for most of the summer. I should be on the water most of the rest of the time.
