http://www.mvr.usace.army.mil/NavCharts/UMRNavCharts.asp Is about the best you can find, no depths, and it marks the wing dams, you’re best advised to keep you eyes open for them, you can basically see most of them, just look for a ridge of water and the wing dam is usually right in the area, usually a bit upstream of the wave a bit. Be careful out there depending on your boat and water level (which is currently down a bit) you may or may not be able to float over them, and that of course depends dam to dam too. There does seem to be a couple wing dams marker with very little bouys, but don’t count on it. Good luck, and be sure to post some results if you do head out there

Its always best to do your running up and down the pool out in the middle in the channel between the red and green markers so you don’t hit any of the wingdams with your lower unit. The DNR also puts out a ”free” booklet showing the river and where there are windams and is available at any DNR office. Thanks, Bill

Bill is right on with that little booklet, and it is what I recommend. It is called Minneapolis Metro River Guide, and it does show all the wingdams and is available thru the ST Paul office of the DNR for free. hope that helps. Jack..
