Spent this morning fishing from Red Wing down to the lake. It was slow for us pitching jigs and pulling cranks. This pic was of the best fish we had for the morning,it came on a ringworm but I can’t remember what color he had on.
How did some of you guys do up by the dam today?

Hey Kerry. We had a pretty steady morning, but we didnt do anything after about 1:00. Caught a few pitching (missed a lot) and a few trolling. Best color trolling was blue/white and pitching chartuese. We caught most of our fish where we saw you. We caught 2 downriver on our first pass but that was it. Ended up keeping 6. Biggest was 20 inches, but EXTREMELY fat. All in all a good day to be on the water. Thanks

Spent about 4 hours with my daughter up by the dam. Had our best luck with orange jigs tipped with minnows. Managed 3 nice Saugers (like the Kid said they were thick, 2 sheepies, and one 3 ft sturguen. But oh what a day to be out.
We hunted the morning fished the pm.
