Night bite on pool 4

With the river dropping, is it worth trying the night bite on pool 4? I was thinking about staying at Everts for a night or 2, and being able to fish at night? As I live in Chippewa Falls, and dont want to drive back and forth all weekend. If it’s too early, when is it worth starting to night fish?

    Thanks in advance,

    John

i’d say you should have been doing it already but that is my opinion now would prolly be a good time, but the best time is during or right after the spawn, couple buddies caught a 26 28 22 inchers last wed night last one coming around 11 pm

Well, neither the Walleye, nor the Sauger have finished spawning yet.Night fishing right now can be very good, but like daytime fishing location is key.Fish are still stacking in the sandy shallows around 10-16 feet deep. Some of the fatties that spawned early are most likely back into deeper water too. After a brief resting period, they sometimes strap on the ol feed bag and do some heavy feeding.
