Pitching Bite All Day Long?

I know the shallow bite should really be kicking into high gear in the next couple of weeks and I was wondering if you guys notice a major slowdown of the bite as the sun comes up higher? I talked to some guys at the IDA tourney and they said they caught fish pitching (hair, plactics, cranks) all day long. Is this just from the dirty water right now? Will fish start to hit more in the AM or PM as the water clears? Any input would be great. Thanks

The pitching shallow bite is an all day thing with the water this dirty… or on cloudy days. When the water gets really clear, after the barges stop running things clear quickly, you’ll see more of an “early and late” bite on clear days and a shot at a steady bite all day long when it’s cloudy or over cast.
