Pool 9 fishing on 9/21/04

Walleyes have been far and few between for this guy…I seem to find some here and there but with no consistency…

long line trolling has produced some in 8-10 feet of water…we even pulled a couple in handlining the same depths…The Minnesota Slough has a ton of grass coming down too…We found a couple of fish back there but again with no consistency…small saugers have been hanging real tight to shore using a 3/16th oz H20 jig and a chartruse pepper k-grub…(the man holding the sauger is camera shy )

even this flat head came to the boat. Dale was using an 3/16th H20 jig and i believe a Chameleon ring worm by BFT…

All in all the bite was still off for my boat….maybe i should look into these willow cats

We were thinking of launching between 7 and 8 at either Blackhawk or Lansing and fishing all day in pool 9, possibly locking thru to 10.
