Cleaner water – better bite.

Although very few of our walleye are coming from the channel
they are doing some spotty biting again. We are finding them mostly in running sloughs and on their edges right where the slack and the current meet. 7-9 feet seemed to be most productive. Split shot, #4 long shank and a crawler. Surprisingly the clam beds in MN slough have been very slow.
