First off I know it’s late, so if I actulally get a reply I’d be haapy as heck, but I have a last minute change of plans tomorrow and I’m planning on hitting P4 tomorrow, can anyone offer up any advice, I’ll probably launch out of evert’s.

And second question and most important, how’s the river going to be? anyone want to venture some guesses? with all this rainfall I’d expect it to change the river quite a bit.

Thanks guys, holler if you see a red lund rebel and a guy (with a stylish IDA hat) and his gal out fishing

Several of the guys in the tournament over the weekend weighed limits of 16″ – 18″ fish from the head of the lake and the larger side channels. All on cranks. If I remember right the #5 jointeds were best.

We’ll we got out, for about 5 hours and I got skunked The GF on the other hand picked up two saugers, at the head of the lake, trolling around 10 fow, I tried shallower, I tried deeper, I tried probably 10 cranks that have proven to put fish in the boat… And a Rapala glass shad, white was the only thing to catch a fish ( infact the first fish I’ve caught on the white glass raps) . I moved around a ton, fishing everywhere from the dam, to the head of the lake. By the dam there seemed to be quite a bit of bait fish in the shorelines, and more than a couple fish busting them at the surface, that being said I couldn’t catch anyting tossing cranks into the baitfishies area. My only saving grace of the day was arguing with the GF about crankbait color choice, of course I gave her the one that was “catchin” the fish (she wanted a different one) I’ll still have some time to live this down, even thought she did admit the bait seemed to be a decent choice. Honestly I’m glad she caught the fish, I can handle a “boring” day on the water, a bit better than her.

    Thanks James
