Toni looks like enchanted Island is heating up.
with the sun on your left and the 280 up river, and that bank looks like the down river end of the Island. Is that a good guess or what. Nice fish!!!! Did tou get it off the Flats or up on a wing dam. Iwent out Tues with some Rcl guys
giving them the lay out of pool 16. Every wing dam we hit
we would pick up a few then dead. we did get a bunch of slot size on the flat just up from the barge landing and down river of enchanted Island.
But nothing like that nice one you got today

Hey Tony, NICE fish! Did you troll that one up? Bet I know what on, but I’m not spilling any beans! I’ve not been out here for a while, but may have to break away from the honey dos and do a little crankin’ and pitchin’ .

Awesome fish dude. Its just a tad bigger than the sow I saw this guy with last weekend on 14 that went over 7#. I know how he caught his though, since I watched him, and I will tell all.

He was slippin’ the channel end of a wingdam with a 3-way sporting a orange/chart spinner, some chart beads, and a 6″ gulp crawler. But that was last weekend.

Don’t get me wrong, (and I have to be careful what I say wouldn’t want to disrespect our packer and vikings fans in pools 10 and below ) but the scenery and fishing can be great on pool 9, however, I have been very impressed with the quality of the fishery on the Clinton-Quad Cities pools. Less drive time to boot…

Here is a picture of an early August Pool 9 walleye. My best friend from Georgia came up for a week and caught this one the second day.
