Despite blue bird skies and cold front conditions, my 15 year old son and I needed to do some fishing. Spent a couple of hours on pool two doing some exploring, trying different areas,etc.
My son outfished me, catching a 22 inch sauger adn 21 inch walleyes, both fish were pulled off of wingdams with cranks.
Lots of fun, talked with the DNR at the landing, they said the fishing has been “off” lately, put prior to these fronts lots of good fish caught on cranks and slow presented lindy stuff.
