No, but I got your attention, right??

Actually I had an interesting event happen to me last night. I launched under the Cedar bridge, and went up to Upper Pool 2. Fishing was pretty slow, so I only stayed till around 7:00. As I was flying down the MN river, a boat came from out of nowhere with its ‘cherries’ on. I thought to myself ‘shoot, what did I do wrong’, as it was the water patrol. They pulled up next to me, and said ‘you can’t progress any further for 15 minutes’. I responded, ‘is there an accident or something?’. They responded that Bush was in town, and you can’t go under the 494 bridge. So I had to kind of sit there and wait. 15 minutes later, they came down, and thanked me and sent me on my way. Kind of funny, I guess.

That’s what everyone is talking about in the office here in Downtown St Paul this morning. Lot’s of road block and detour stories……

    Geesh.. Just lost my post.
Anyways, if I had a brain, I’d have put 1and1 together, when I saw the Army helicopter flying over pool 2 last night. I thought I was in a combat zone or something…

Regarding fishing, I have completely lost my touch on pool 2. Fishing has been really slow, but that doesn’t mean anything. Wind was a big factor last night. It was pushing my boat around pretty good, and trolling was kind of tough at times. I’ve lost more lures lately than I normally do. I gotta start collecting aluminum cans or something. That Whiplash I have on my rod sucks.
Dave – if you get that bug on Wed, contact me. You can come in my boat if you want.

I was heading into Wi last night on 94 and west bound was closed until his motorcade went by led by a military helicopter. Pretty weird feeling. Can you imagine having to live like that?? No good.

    Suzuki,

To take it a step further, could you imagine trying to fish your secret spot with all the security around you?………………..wait a minute thats it, you could have the river to yourself!!
