Redwing Report?

Hey, whats the river conditions at the Redwing/Bay City area?

Leaving Friday mourning to camp for a week.

I fished Pepin Wednesday and found the river was still very high. The walk ramps at the park in Lake City were under water so I used the marina. The lake was VERY dirty and full of debris on the North end starting from about Hoksilah, lots of floating crud, logs, limbs and junk. This will tell you about the Bay City area but I don’t know about Red Wing. I found myself weaving and dodging floaters in the lake all day, keep your eyes open well ahead.

The water is dropping fast. Still a lot of junk floating as was posted. Bay City/Maiden Rock are a good bet right now. We got a few the other night trolling cranks shallow. Work the points south of the Rush.
