Pool 5 Techniques

    Hey all. I am new to pool 5 and was wondering about some techniques to fish that pool. Is casting cranks to wingdams this time of year good? What about trolling 3-ways and bait or longlining cranks? I’m not looking for specific spots, just general structures and techniques. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Pool 5 has some FANTASTIC wingdams and lots of them. That’s where I’d focus my efforts from here on out and well into the fall. Casting cranks or rigging bait at the face of the dams and later casting jigs n’ plastics or hair works well.
