Sunday on Lake Pepin

    Finally got down on the lake today with my 7 year old daughter. We started out shallow and fast(3+MPH) pulling cranks and ended up with this 33″ gator and some shorts. After lunch at the pickle factory we switched gears. 14-16 fow at 2.5 mph filled the box with eaters. It was nice to see the bigger saugers in the lake again(18″-20). I hope they stick around this summer!
    All in all a good father daughter day on the water!

    I bet that gator slime did not touch that shiny new boat! Great day for the two of you. Fish are always nice with kids, but the real deal is you getting out together. Woo-hoo!
