Pool 4 plainer boards?

    Very often the guys using boards will be targeting suspended fish.

    Thats correct James is right.The key is to know what depth your lure runs with a certain type of line and how far back.The other advantage is the fish dont get as spooked when the baits off to the side.

    I have used boards there twice with great success. The fish were in relatively shallow water so the boards kept the lures away from the boat. Most fish came on boards in that situation.
