Hoksila/Pepin update?

Has anyone launched out of Hoksila in last couple of days? Any issues, or ok?

I’ve seen a couple scattered reports from Pepin in last week or so. Anyone been out recently? Had any luck with crawlers?

was out monday in the rain and fishing was realy good! boated a three man limmit of nice fish and had a few ovr 20″ we released! tuesday we had a cold front come threw so we didnt fish! yesterday we made it out again and caught fish but most were small and fishing was much slower black jig head tipped with a minnow or a green jig head with minnow worked ok! monday was mostlu plastics and shad raps!

we did not launch out of hoksila but was fishing that body of water!

you should have no problems launching there! its not under water!

Great info! Thanks. I hope to try it some tomorrow. Assuming all the cold might slow stuff down but heck…worth a shot I guess.

I just got my boat in and plan on getting out for the first time on Saturday. Were the fishing coming out of pretty shallow along the highway or were you deeper?
I am planning on pulling some three ways with a Gulp crawler and one with a shad rap.

Well I made it out this afternoon. No problem launching.

But didn’t have much luck. A few northerns and that made it exciting. And my first sheepshead of the year. Yay.
