    Heading up June 1st. Staying in Lake City. Can you guys give me advice on where to start for walleyes? Also, does anyone actually cast for Northerns on pool 4? I know their caught while walleye fishing. My son loves casting for slimmers.

    Yes, many people cast for northerns on Pool 4. Just look for any creeks or cold water inlets and cast up into them. You should find them depending on the lake water temps.

    Think shallow. Great time of year, for big numbers of 15-20″ fish especially.

    Beginning of June is a little early to be casting around feeder streams. Try some backwaters around nelson or alma that time of year for slimers
