P4 on inland lake opener

    We usually head north for opener but this we are year camping at Frontenac State park. I typically fish Pepin in June. Will the fish he in the head if the lake in this mid May time period or will most walleye / sauger be in the river still?

    Cedar is right on. There are a ton of fishing reports in the reports forum for May on Pool 4 from over the years.

    I would even argue its some of the best fishing of the whole year for numbers of fish. Good luck!
